GIScience Colloquium
Recent and prospective urbanization trends lead to new spatial
dimensions of urban landscapes including so-called ‘mega-regions’.
Examples shown include multi-temporal and multi-source satellite data to
classify urbanized areas for an exemplary megaregion – the Hong
Kong-Shenzhen-Guangzhou mega-region in Southern China.
